What's the 10DLC process like?+
You fill out a guided form (legal name, EIN, use case, sample messages). We submit to The Campaign Registry on your behalf via Flowroute. Carriers typically approve in 1-3 business days. We send you daily status updates via SMS + email until your number is active.
Can I port my existing business number?+
Yes. Self-serve port-in via Flowroute (LOA upload, status tracking in the UI). Most ports complete in 7-10 business days. You can keep texting on a temporary number during the port.
What happens if I cancel?+
You pick: (a) free PDF export of all messages, (b) $199 one-time for 7-year read-only login, or (c) no action — records remain in WORM, future retrieval is $500/export-batch. Per SEC 17a-4 we cannot delete records during the retention window regardless of cancellation.
Do you support group messaging / blasts?+
Not in v1. Bulk SMS is the most TCPA-dangerous feature in any texting product and most BDs prohibit it on advisor numbers. Use the Marketing module for compliant email blasts instead.
What about MMS pricing?+
$0.05 per MMS overage (separate counter from SMS). MMS-capable numbers cost the same $5/mo.
What's required from a TCPA standpoint?+
Every contact must have express consent on file before you text them. We support single-opt-in (you attest you have written or verbal consent), double opt-in (we send a confirmation text), or inbound-initiated (the contact texted you first). Send is blocked at the API if consent is not active.
What lexicon comes pre-loaded?+
~80 default rules covering: performance guarantees, specific return claims, urgency/pressure, suitability red flags, PII patterns (SSN, credit card), profanity, insider trading, and misleading comparisons. You can add your own per org.
Where is the data stored?+
AWS US-East-1 (Virginia) by default. WORM bucket has Object Lock in Compliance mode + per-org retention period. Operational DB is RDS PostgreSQL Multi-AZ.
What about my Redtail / Wealthbox CRM?+
Deep Redtail sync ships in v1 (bidirectional contacts + activity). Wealthbox sync is in Phase 4 (~Week 12). Imports preserve consent history.
